IPL 2021, DC vs KKR: Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 7 wickets, courtesy of a brisk inning by Prithvi Shaw. Despite the loss, KKR bowler Shivam Mavi and Prithvi Shaw were seen sharing some light-hearted moments together. It was a great display of friendship between the players from two different teams. This happens after Mavi was hit for 25 by Shaw.

Prithvi Shaw and Shivam Mavi have both played U-19 for India together and have a history of being friends. Prithvi Shaw scored 82 in 41 balls and ensured DC win in the 16^th over itself. The innings consisted of 11 4s and three 6s.

Unfortunately for Mavi, he went for 25 runs in one over, courtesy his friend, Prithvi. Mavi did not bowl after that over in the match but salvaged his emotions after the match as he met the Man of the Match awardee of DC vs KKR, Prithvi Shaw.

Match played between KKR and DC at Narendra Modi Stadium saw some of the cracking shots chasing boundary from the bats of Shaw, Russell and Shikhar Dhawan. Prithvi Shaw of DC who dominated KKR bowlers, made this win for DC, super easy. Mavi turned out to be most expensive bowler for KKR, all thanks to Shaw.

Kolkata Knight Riders’ trouble go on as they lost the fifth match of their campaign but Delhi Capitals continue their good form as they went up the second spot in the points table.
