India's Best Playing 11 For T20 World Cup 2024 In USA & West Indies

Here's a look at what could be India's best playing 11 for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, slated to take place from June, 2024.

India unveiled their 15-man squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, with Rohit Sharma at the helm and Hardik Pandya as his deputy. The marquee event will take place in the United States of America and the West Indies in the month of June and India will begin their campaign against Ireland on June 5, at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, followed by the most-anticipated match against Pakistan on June 9 at the same stadium.

In the recently-held press conference featuring captain Rohit Sharma and chief selector Ajit Agarkar, Sharma refrained from divulging the precise playing XI, hinting that the team will be finalized based on the conditions and requirements.

"I don't want to go into details on this. I definitely wanted four spinners. We have played a lot of cricket there (West Indies), we know how the conditions are like. The matches start at 10 AM in the morning. There is a technical aspect involved in this. The reason for picking four spinners is something I won't reveal now. But I will definitely say it there what is the reason behind it.” said Rohit Sharma in the press conference on Thursday.
