Ashish Nehra Set To Leave GT Before IPL 2025? The latest news coming in from the Indian Premier League (IPL) circuit is that Gujarat Titans (GT), a franchise who had to part ways their highly successful captain Hardik Pandya, could be in line to lose head coach Ashish Nehra as well. A fresh media report claims that not only Nehra but even their Director of Cricket Vikram Solanki could be headed elsewhere ahead of IPL 2025.
The same has been claimed in a report carried by News18. While Nehra and Solanki are expected to part ways with the franchise, batting coach Gary Kirsten has already taken up a coaching role with Pakistan team in white-ball cricket, implying an end to his association with the franchise for now. In addition, the same report states that an Indian cricket legend is being considered for Nehra's replacement.

The name happens to be none other than Yuvraj Singh's. In case, it is confirmed, it will be a massive news since Yuvi has not taken up a full-time coaching role prior to this. While he has mentored players like Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill in the past, this will be the first out and out coaching stint that he will have as an IPL player.
