MS Dhoni Visits Ranchi's Dewri Temple Ahead Of IPL 2022, Video Goes Viral

MS Dhoni will return to action with the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which most likely will be hosted in India across several venues amid Coronavirus pandemic.

New Delhi: Two-time World cup winning skipper MS Dhoni is hailed no less than a demigod all over the world. Mahi's popularity among his die-hard fans is unbelievable as they can go to any extent to just get a glimpse of the Ranchi stalwart.

Ahead of the start of IPL 2022, the Chennai Super Kings captain visited Ranchi's Dewri Temple on Monday afternoon to offer his prayers. The 40-year-old is known to be a religious person and has visited the temple before as well.

MS Dhoni did not disappoint his fans and acknowledged their love as few of them even got a chance to click pictures with the legend.

The legendary wicket-keeper batter will return to action with the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which most likely will be hosted in India across several venues amid Coronavirus pandemic.

Ahead of the IPL 2022 auction, Dhoni was retained by CSK for Rs 12 crore. Another stalwart retained by CSK was Ravindra Jadeja for 16 crores. This was the first time in the history of Chennai Super Kings, when any other player was retained for a price more than MS Dhoni. 

MS Dhoni-led franchise spent a mind boggling INR 14 crore to retain Chahar in their squad. With this, Chahar has now become Chennai Super Kings' most expensive buy ever in IPL auction history. Overall, Chahar is now also the third joint-most expensive Indian buy in IPL auction history along with Yuvraj Singh.
