New Delhi: Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper Hardik Pandya's animated reaction after winning the toss against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) went viral on social media on Tuesday at the DY Patil stadium in Navi Mumbai. Pandya did not just stop here as he even went on to engage in friendly banter with his close friend and Punjab skipper Mayank Agarwal. It seems like the duo shares a good bond off and on the field.

On another note, Pandya, talking about his team's impressive run in the IPL 2022 said that the team is not getting carried away even after so much success. The all-rounder asserted that Gujarat is aware of the fact that they have won games that went down to the last over and the results could have not gone in their favor.

Gujarat has had a dream run in their debut season, so far. They have lost just one match out of all 8 games. They are just a win away from becoming the first team to secure a spot in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 Playoffs.

Meanwhile, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah on Tuesday confirmed the Playoff Stage of IPL 2022 will be held in Ahmedabad and Kolkata. He also said IPL 2022 final will be played on May 29 at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium.

"Pleased to announce that Playoff Stage of IPL 2022 will be held in Ahmedabad & Kolkata. Mega final will be at Narendra Modi Stadium on May 29 along with Qualifier 2 on May 27. Qualifier 1 & Eliminator at Eden Gardens on 24-25 May respectively," BCCI Secy Jay Shah told ANI.
