Australian cricketer Marsh was the first overseas player to test Covid-19 after which he had to be hospitalized last Monday. Seifert came back positive two days later, hours before Delhi's match against Punjab Kings. Luckily, this had no impact on the DC vs PBKS IPL 2022 fixture.

Apart from Marsh and Seifert, physio Patrick Farhart, Chetan Kumar, Abhijit Salvi, and Akash Mane had tested Covid-19 positive.

Delhi Capitals (DC) in their next match will clash against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 41st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at Mumbai's iconic Wankhede Stadium.
