A win over Pakistan gave Indian fanbase hope that the Men in Blue might go all the way to win T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia but the side bowed out after losing to England in semis. Jos Buttler-led side eventually went on to clinch the T20 World Cup trophy for the second time.
Virat Kohli's 82 not out off 53 balls was undoubtedly one of the best innings ever played in the history of T20Is.
