India W vs Pakistan W Commonwealth Games 2022: An all-around performance from the Indian women's cricket team defeated their arch-rivals Pakistan by eight wickets in the rain-curtailed women's group match in Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham. After loss against India, which is their second consecutive loss in CWG 2022, Pakistan is more-or-less knocked out from the multi-nation mega sporting event. Put to bowl first after losing the toss, a tight bowling performance from the Indian bowlers bundled out Pakistan women's cricket team for 99 runs in 18 overs. For India, Sneh Rana and Radha Yadav starred with the bowl and the duo bagged two wickets apiece.

Chasing 100 runs for the win, a solid 61-run partnership between vice-captain Samriti Mandhana (42-ball 63) and Varma made a mockery of the target. 

The last time India played a T20 International match against Pakistan was during the 2018 ICC Women's World T20.
