'Surely He'll Go Past Tendulkar': WWE Superstar Hails Virat Kohli, Calls Him 'A Different Breed'

Continuing his purple patch in international cricket, Virat Kohli slammed his career's 46th ODI ton in Ind-SL 3rd ODI, also making him the fastest batter to score 74 international tons in all formats.

Former WWE champion Drew McIntyre posted a special Tweet for icon Virat Kohli, praising the former India batter for his epic century against Sri Lanka in recently-concluded India vs Sri Lanka 3rd ODI. Continuing his purple patch in international cricket, Virat Kohli slammed his career's 46th ODI ton, also making him the fastest batter to score 74 international tons in all formats. By the virtue of his latest ton, Virat neared Sachin's mega record of 100 international tons.

"Even by his own standard today’s knock was insane. Virat Kohli is a different breed. Surely he’ll go past Tendulkar and reach 50 ODI tons?!," the WWE superstar wrote in his tweet for Virat Kohli.

After thumping the Lankan Lions 3-0, team India will return to action when they go up against No. 1 ranked ODI side New Zealand in the limited-overs series. The first ODI of the three-match series will be played in Hyderabad on January 18.

Earlier, Drew McIntyre had posted a tweet to praise star India batter Suryakumar Yadav for his breathtaking knock (61 runs off 25 balls) in India's final Super 12 stage match in T20 World Cup 2022, Australia. Yadav's heroics helped India dethrone Pakistan as table-toppers in Group-2, with 8 points from 4 wins off 5 matches.

Not only Drew, but fans and cricket pundits all over the world have come out to laud Virat Kohli for his phenomenal innings. The way Kohli has been playing crucial match-winning knocks for India in last few games is highly commendable.
