Kevin Pietersen Tweets In Hindi To Support Team India After Their Heartbreaking Loss To New Zealand

Cricketer-turned-commentator Kevin Pietersen posted a tweet in Hindi and appealed not to target the Indian players, in the wake of severe criticism they have been receiving.

New Delhi: The Indian cricket team has been put under the scanner after suffering a shambolic loss against New Zealand in the T20 World Cup. Some cricket pundits have raised questions on Virat Kohli's abilities and decision making as captain, while some questioned the changes made in India's playing XI for T20 WC game against Kiwis.

Even on social media, many fans slammed Team India and even blamed IPL for their dismal performance. However, there are also some cricketers who have backed team India in such testing times. Veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh posted a tweet to show his support for the national team.

Cricketer-turned-commentator Kevin Pietersen too has come out in support of Virat Kohli and Co. . The star batsman posted a tweet in Hindi and appealed not to target the Indian players, in the wake of severe criticism they have been receiving even since defeat in the important T20 World Cup match vs New Zealand. 

"There is a winner and a loser in the game. No player goes out to lose. It is the greatest honor to represent your country. Please realize that the people in the game are not robots and they need support at all times," tweeted Kevin Pietersen. 

Pietersen's tweet has gone viral on social media. Post defeat against New Zealand, India has been almost knocked out from the race to the semi-finals, now the team needs a miracle to make it to the top four in the Group 2.Team India's next match is against Afghanistan on November 3.
