WATCH: Legend MS Dhoni Visits Indian Dressing Room Ahead Of IND-NZ 1st T20I In Ranchi

IND vs NZ: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to Twitter to share a video of two-time World Cup winning skipper MS Dhoni's surprise visit to Ranchi's JSCA stadium - venue for the first T20 International between India and New Zealand on January 27, Friday.

The players were training at the stadium on the eve of the IND-NZ fixture when legend MS Dhoni, who lives in Ranchi, met the Blues in the dressing room.

Team India arrived in Ranchi for India vs New Zealand three-match T20 series, starting from 27th January. The Men in Blue attained a 3-0 clean sweep against New Zealand in the recently-concluded ODI series. Now, Hardik Pandya-led hosts will aim to win the T20 series as well. Suryakumar Yadav has been made India's vice-captain for IND-NZ T20 series. His last ton in T20Is came against New Zealand back in November 2022. The star batter had brought up his century off just 49 balls. 

India and New Zealand have played 8 T20I series against each other, in which India won 4 and New Zealand won 3.
