Watch: Bhuvneshwar Kumar's Hilarious Reply To A Reporter's 'Weakest Link' Statement
A reporter asked Bhuvneshwar Kumar during the post-match press conference if there is any 'weak link' in the Indian bowling attack.
New Delhi: Team India's senior pace bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has made a resounding comeback from injury. It was being speculated that the national team had already moved past Bhuvneshwar after the 2021 T20 World Cup debacle but the veteran silenced his critics with remarkable bowling against England in the T20 series. India took an unassailable 2-0 lead by winning the first two T20Is against England. In the second T20I on Saturday, Bhuvneshwar bagged 3 wickets for 15 runs and was adjudged the player of the match.
During India vs England 2nd T20I, India scored 170/8. Chasing the target, England got bundled out for just 121 runs in 17 overs. India won the match by 49 runs, making Rohit Sharma the only captain in T20I cricket history to win 14 matches in a row.
After the match got over, a reporter asked Bhuvneshwar Kumar during the post-match press conference if there is any 'weak link' in the Indian bowling attack. The senior pacer came up with a hilarious reply which left everyone in splits.
"Ek match mein agar maar padd gayi toh aap hi weak bowler dhundengey. Woh aap agle match mein dhund lena (If a bowler gets hit for runs, you guys will identify him as a weak bowler. Try finding him in the next game)," said the 32-year-old speedster in the conference.
