Sweet Shop Owner Makes Special Request To 'Fitness Freak' Virat Kohli Ahead Of Indore Test

'Fitness freak' Virat Kohli's obsession with fitness is not new. A healthy life is a must for the RCB legend and thus, he encourages fans and his teammates to be fit as well. Virat has time and again admitted how conscious he is of what he eats. Delhi-born Virat is also a known foodie but he can no longer afford to have tasty delicacies regularly owing to his commitment to the sport.

Virat will return to action when hosts India go up against Australia in third Test of four-match India vs Australia Test series of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The venue of Ind vs Aus 3rd Test is Indore. After defeating the visitors in first two Tests, India have a 2-0 lead in the series.

Meanwhile, Pankaj, son of the owner of Indore's Madhuram Sweets, also known as '56 dukaan', has requested Virat to come and visit his shop to taste a special sweet that will cater to the batting legends' special dietary needs.

"We have a very healthy option, protein rich, for Virat Kohli. It’s the shahi rasmalai. It’s made from Gir Cow’s milk and sugarcane juice. Taste and health both. Jab bhi wo Indore mai time mile to meri request hai unse ki wo yaha aake zarur khaaye (Whenever he gets time in Indore, I would request him to come to our shop and try the special Shahi Rasmalai),” Pankaj said in an interaction with News18.

Pankaj revealed Rahul Dravid tried a variety of their dishes when he visited the shop on the morning of February 26.

"Yes Rahul Dravid came this morning and had badam caramel, shahi rasmalai and shahi shikanji (something which is their speciality), poha and jalebi. Even former India cricketer Ajay Jadeja is very fond of our food and he too has been here quite often. People like Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and many other celebrities have come here,” Pankaj added.
