IND vs ENG: Jasprit Bumrah Sends Ollie Pope's Stumps Flying With Searing Yorker- WATCH

Jasprit Bumrah's yorker proved devastating as his reverse-swinging delivery targeted in on the base of the middle and leg, leaving Ollie Pope with no response or means of defense.

India's premier fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah, delivered a devastating toe-crushing yorker that sent Ollie Pope's stumps flying during Day 2 of the second Test at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on February 3 (Saturday). As the leader of the Indian pace attack, Bumrah demonstrated his excellence and resilience on a pitch that offered limited support to the fast bowlers. Pope played a pivotal role in securing victory for England by scoring an impressive 196 in the opening Test against India at Hyderabad.

In the 28th over, on the fifth ball, Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Ollie Pope, who had previously played a match-winning innings for England in Hyderabad. Despite being well-set in Vizag, Pope faced 54 deliveries before encountering Bumrah's lethal yorker, which ultimately shattered his stumps.

On Saturday, the prolific opener Yashasvi Jaiswal achieved a significant milestone by scoring his maiden Test double hundred in the second Test against England. At just 22 years old, he became the third youngest Indian to accomplish this feat in his budding yet remarkable career.

In his sixth Test appearance, Jaiswal's outstanding innings of 209 off 290 balls played a pivotal role in propelling India to a total of 396 all out in 112 overs on the second day of the match. The innings included 19 fours and seven sixes, standing out as the sole highlight in an otherwise below-par batting performance by the home team.

Even the opposition acknowledged Jaiswal's exceptional effort, with England players approaching him to offer congratulations after his epic innings concluded in the 107th over.

Notably, Vinod Kambli holds the record for being the youngest Indian to score a double century, achieved against England at the age of 21 years and 335 days in 1993. Kambli also holds the distinction of being the second youngest Indian double centurion in Tests, accomplishing it against Zimbabwe at the age of 21 years and 355 days.
