WATCH: Jose Mourinho Shown Third Red Card Of Season During Roma's Shock Defeat vs Cremonese

After the match, Jose Mourinho has threatened to take legal action against the fourth official.

Jose Mourinho might be known for leading football teams to glory but he is also known for his on and off the field antics which keeps him in the news. He is known to speak his mind and has crossed the line in the past. For the third time in the ongoing season, the Portuguese was sent off with the Roma manager being given a red card after he allegedly abused the referee.

The incident happened during Roma's Serie A face off against Cremonese. Mourinho's team was 0-1 down in the dying minutes of the first half when he lost his cool and allegedly abused the referee. He had already been sent off twice in this season before the match on Tuesday. Even the assistant coach of Giallorossi has already served a month-long back after he got into a bit of an argument with officials following the side's Coppa Italia defeat.

After the match, the 60-year-old has threatened to take legal action against the fourth official.

Talking about the match, Cremonese took the lead early with a goal in just the 17th minute of the match with Frank Tsadjout finding the back of the net. Leonardo Spinazzola then did manage to find the equaliser with a 71st minute goal but Daniel Ciofani converted a penalty late in the match to put Cremonese back in the lead after which Roma couldn't find a goal.

As far as the league standings are concerned, Roma are now fifth on the table with 44 points from 24 matches. Cremonese, meanwhile, are placed 19th on the points tally with 12 points from 24 games. Napoli continue to be leading the Italian League table with 65 points from 24 fixtures with Inter Milan, AC Milan and Lazio completing the top four with 47, 47 and 45 points respectively.
