Enzo Maresca Reflects On Difficulties His Side Faced Vs Manchester United
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca said that he is 'happy' with side's performance in the 1-1 draw on Sunday, and that, they were 'aware of the diffuculties Manchester United could possess'.
"We knew it was a difficult game for many reasons. We scored, we came back. After the goal we tried to win. We are happy because we knew how difficult it would be. The [Man Utd] players want to prove they're good enough. A new manager with different ideas so we had to prepare a different way," said Enzo Maresca.
Moises Caicedo had a night to remember at Old Trafford, as he produced a sublime piece of performance, which included his thunderous volley that eventually proved to be the decisive goal for Chelsea.
The Ecuador midfielder now has the most combined tackles and interceptions (52) of any player in the Premier League this season.
