Paris Olympics 2024: Spain's Football Team Arrives In Paris And Here's All You Need To Know

Paris Olympics 2024: The newly-crowned European champions set their sights on Olympics, as they aim to upgrade their silver medal from last time around. Here are the details.

Paris Olympics 2024: Spain's football team is embarking another adventure, as the historic summer of 2024 sees the newly-crowned European champions take on the challenge of bringing Olympic glory to the 'land of beautiful football'. Spain were extremely unlucky in Tokyo Olympics 2020, as a Pedri-inspired side could not beat Dani Alves' Brazil in the gold medal match, but are having a highly dangerous squad this time around.

FC Barcelona's Pau Cubarsi is definitely amongst the biggest names in the squad, as the side will see featuring Euro 2024 winners Fermin Lopez and Alex Baena as well, with the duo opting to play at the Olympics instead of taking holidays. Spain looks extremely well-balanced in every department and Santi Denia will probably have a headache of selection, given the world-class quality he has at his disposal.

The age-restriction while selecting the squad for Olympics is 23, but three overaged players are allowed in the squad to compete. Spain have opted for Juan Miranda, Sergio Gomez and Abel Ruiz to assist the young guns of Spain in Paris.
