Infamous For Biting Chiellini During 2014 World Cup
While at one hand, Suarez would be remembered for being one of the great players of his generation and someone who finished as Uruguay's leading goal-scorer with 69 goals from 142 matches as yet, his career had its own share of controversies.
Suarez, in fact, infamously received a four-month ban for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini during the FIFA World Cup 2014. In the 2010 FIFA World Cup too, he was at the centre of a controversy when his hand-ball on the goalline denied Ghana what would have been a winner in the quarter-final.

Even though Suarez was sent off the pitch for the offence, Ghana failed to score off the penalty and subsequently Uruguay went on to secure a place in the semi-final after winning the penalty shoot-out.
"I wouldn't trade the Copa America title for anything," he said. "It was the best moment of my career. I wouldn't trade it for anything."
