Former FC Barcelona defender Dani Alves has been sentenced to server 4+ years in prison on the basis of sexual assault and rape allegations. The allegations, which have now been proven in the court, now see the decorated right-back become the part of the infamous club of 'Prison FC', a fictional club made by fans that consists of players for their wrong deeds, that indeed, leave a dark spot on the beautiful sport of football.
The incident dates back to December 2022 in Barcelona, Sapin, where the 40-year old went to a nightclub and the incident, reportedly, took place in the bathroom, which reached legal concerns and matters in January 2023, as the case was opened by the victim against Dani Alves, which saw the right-back turn himself into custody. However, the lawyer has stated that the legal team of Dani Alves will be appealing against the ruling.
