Copa America 2024: Lionel Messi and Lautaro Martinez shared a wholesome moment during Argentina Vs Peru Copa America 2024 fixture, as both sides were playing out their final group stage game. The moment occured after Lautaro Martinez scored the opening goal for Argentina against Peru in the starting minutes of the second half, and the attacker went towards the bench area to hug the legend, as he was benched due to injury concerns.

With his brace, Lautaro Martinez is now the leading goal-scorer at this year's Copa America with 4 goals and Argentina now await their opponent in the quarter-final, which will be either of Ecuador or Mexico, as the latter two are set to lock horns in a virtual Round of 16 fixture in their Game 3 of the group stages.
