Argentina vs Colombia Highlights, Copa America 2024: At the end of a dramatic proceedings at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida it was Lionel Messi and his men that prevailed. Argentine beat Colombia 1-0 in a match that went all the way down to the extra time.

The tournament's leading goal scorer Lautaro Martinez netted a goal when it mattered the most, in the 112th minute of the title-deciding clash, one from which Colombia could not recover and ended up losing the contest. The win sealed a record 16th title for La Albiceleste.

45th Career Trophy For Lionel Messi

The result means another addition to what has already been a trophy-laden career fo Messi. While he has previously won the Copa America with Argentina, also leading them to a FIFA World Cup 2022 triumph, this time around he had to be subbed off after an ankle injury in the summit clash, leaving his teammates to do the job who did not disappoint.

It was a chaotic start to the final with the fixture getting delayed by 82 minutes due to the security breaches which allowed fans without tickets to make their way into the stadium.
