After Sushil Kumar, Another Junior Wrestler Arrested In Sagar Dhankhar Murder Case
Gaurav Lora (the arrested wrestler) was present in the stadium on the day of the incident and was absconding since then. The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has so far made more than 10 arrests in this murder case. Olympian Sushil Kumar is already lodged in Tihar Jail.
New Delhi: Crime Branch has made another arrest in connection with the murder of wrestler Sagar Dhankar at Chhatrasal Stadium in Delhi. This time the arrested person is junior wrestler Gaurav Lora (21). He is a resident of the Baprola village of Delhi.
Gaurav was present in the stadium on the day of the incident and was absconding since the incident. The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has so far made more than 10 arrests in this murder case. Olympian Sushil Kumar is already lodged in Tihar Jail.
Olympian Sushil Kumar, the main accused in this murder case, is lodged in Delhi's Tihar Jail. Recently Sushil Kumar has been shifted from Mandoli Jail to Tihar Jail. This shifting has been done in view of the threat to Sushil Kumar's life from a known gangster.
Sagar Dhankar's partner, Sonu Mahal was also involved in this matter. Mahal was also beaten up by Sushil Kumar and his associates at the Chhatrasal Stadium. Since then, it is feared that gangster Kala Jhatedi may take revenge on Sushil Kumar. This is the reason why Sushil Kumar, who was recently lodged in Mandoli Jail, has been shifted to Tihar Jail in Delhi.
However, when Sushil Kumar was being shifted to Tihar Jail, the responsibility of security was given to the Special Cell of Delhi Police. During the shifting, the Delhi Police Special Cell personnel took several selfies with Sushil Kumar. The police were criticized a lot after these selfie photos went viral.
