Here's What The Two Captains Said During The Post-Match Presentation Ceremony
Winifred Duraisingam (Malaysia Women Captain):
"It was a very tough game for us and hopefully the girls something from it and hopefully they will come back stronger in the next game. I think we lack experience at the highest level and when we get to play more against bowlers like the Sri Lankans then we will get better."
Chamari Athapaththu (Sri Lanka Women Captain):
"Really happy today. My team mates and support staff have supported me today. My mom is there to see me here for the first time in 13 years. So, dedicated to her and thanks to her for coming. I am enjoying my cricket and knows how to handle the pressure and that's what I am doing. We always think about the World Cup and Asia Cup main matches and that's why we are making these many changes. That is all. Happy with the win, but long way to go in the tournament."
