Wasim took the ball and threw it towards the non-striker’s end but then he ended up hurting umpire Aleem Dar’s right foot.
In the ODI between New Zealand and Pakistan, something very dramatic incident transpired when the Pakistan player Mohammad Wasim threw the ball towards the right foot of Aleem Dar instead of hitting the wickets while fielding.
The incident took place in the 36th over of the match that was bowled by Haris Rauf. Glenn Phillips played the delivery and smashed it towards the square leg and ran for a single. Wasim took the ball and threw it towards the non-striker’s end but then he ended up hurting umpire Aleem Dar’s right foot. Aleem Dar was angry and immediately threw Haris Rauf's sweater.

Pakistan bowler Naseem Shah was then spotted rubbing Dar’s foot to reduce the pain. Talking about the match, New Zealand’s Devon Conway smashed a century and helped his team win the match by a 79-run win over Pakistan in the second one-day international in Karachi on Wednesday. The series is now levelled at 1-1 now.
The left-hander amassed 101 and skipper Kane Williamson also scored 85. New Zealand then lost nine wickets for 78 runs and were restricted to 261 all out in 49.5 overs. Pakistan kept losing wickets at regular intervals and despite a gutsy 79 from skipper Babar Azam, they were dismissed for just 182 runs.
