WATCH: Rashid Khan's mystery ball rattles Varun Chopra's wickets in T20 Blast

In his spell of four overs, he leaked 25 runs and picked up 2 crucial wickets

Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan has currently been touching new heights in his cricketing career. With the course of time, the 19-year-old cricketer has become one of the favourites in the T20 leagues across the world.

Adding another feather in his cap, he made his debut in the T20 Blast for Sussex on July 4 and didn’t waste time to leave an impact. While playing against Essex, Rashid continued delivering a few of his mystery balls which left no stone unturned to bamboozle the opponents.

While chasing a mammoth total of 182 runs, the Essex had a tumbling start as they lost the first wicket right in the second over. While they kept on losing wickets at regular intervals, opener Varun Chopra had held the nerve at the other end.

He struggled hard to get his team close to victory single-handedly, but Rashid had some other plans. In the 17th over, Chopra was trapped successfully by the Afghan spinner as he was cleaned bowled on 64.

Here’s the video:

Before removing Chopra, Rashid already had dismissed Ravi Bopara during the 11th over. In his spell of four overs, he leaked 25 runs and picked up 2 crucial wickets.

Sussesx beat Essex by 36 runs with 2 balls to spare.
