WATCH | MS Dhoni Enjoys Bike Ride On His 39th B'day, Waves Back At Fans Greeting Him

Much to the the delight of a select few Dhoni fans who had gathered outside his residence to greet him on his birthday, they caught a glimpse of their cricket hero riding his bike. While Dhoni waved out to his fans, he refrained from getting close to them.

One of India's iconic cricketers and former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni celebrated his 39th birthday on Wednesday (July 7) . While wishes poured in from all quarters of the cricketing fraternity to greet the wicket-keeper batsman on his birthday, 'Mahi' fans could not get some insights as to how the legend celebrated his birthday at his Ranchi farmhouse, owing to him not been very active on social media. However, much to the delight of a select few Dhoni fans who had gathered outside his residence, they caught a glimpse of their cricket hero riding his bike. While Dhoni waved out to his fans, he refrained from getting close to them.

His teammates Hardik and Krunal Pandya also landed in Ranchi to celebrate the occasion with Dhoni but they too haven't shared any clip from the celebrations yet. Amidst the Covid-19 lockdown cricketers have been busy sharing their routine and workout drills on a regular basis on social media,Dhoni has been rather understated and private about his personal live. However, his wife Sakshi has been sharing quite a few moments of Dhoni having fun with his daughter Ziva and him pursuing different activities like farming. Hailed as arguably the most successful skipper to have ever led Team India, Dhoni took a sabbatical from competitive cricket after India's shattering loss to New Zealand in the 2019 ICC World Cup way back in June last year, Since the flagship tournament, he reportedly made himself unavailable for selection during the home season and then kept himself away from the New Zealand tour too.
