It was an ordinary Ashes series from the English players' point of view, but the post-series party was the high point for Joe Root's men.

Three English cricketers including Joe Root & Anderson reportedly had their Ashes party shut down after police were called in a hotel at Hobart. In a video that is going viral, we can see Alex Carey, Travis Head, and Nathan Lyon along with English cricketers being confronted by at least four police personnel.

The Daily Telegraph reported that a noise complaint was made to the hotel as the group played music from the balcony.

Take a look at the video:

In the video, we see that the group of players are asked to stop drinking and step inside the hotel from the terrace. Lyon and Alex Carey are still in their white jerseys suggesting that the players had partied all night long after their 4-0 triumph of the Ashes series.

In the video, a policeman is heard saying: “Too loud. You have obviously been asked to pack up, so we’ve been asked to come. Time for bed. Thank you."

“They just want to pack up.”
