WATCH: Bharat Army welcomes Rishabh Pant with a song - 'He'll hit you for a 6, he'll babysit your kids'

The members of the Bharat Army welcomed the young stumper at the ground with a melodious song which they sang over drum beats

“He'll hit you for a six... He'll babysit your kids... We've got Rishabh Pant”

It’s not some random statement given by any cricket pundit but it’s a song composed by the Indian fan group ‘Bharat Army’ which was echoing at the Sydney Cricket Ground on the second day of the fourth Test.

Young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant may have had thrown away his wickets in the previous games after beginning decently. However, he looked utmost confident when he came to bat alongside Cheteshwar Pujara on Friday.

While Pujara missed out on his double tone by mere 7 runs, Pant took the responsibility and expressed himself fearlessly against the Aussie bowling attack. Be it the spin duo or the pace trio, Pant showed no mercy to any of them and slammed a smoking century on the Australian soil.

Earlier in the morning, the members of the Bharat Army welcomed the young stumper at the ground with a melodious song which they sang over drum beats.

“We've got Pant... Rishab Pant... I just don't think you'll understand... He'll hit you for a six... He'll babysit your kids... We've got Rishab Pant,” – the song goes like that!

Here's the video:

Pant became the first Indian wicketkeeper to slam a century in Australia. He surpassed Farokh Engineer’s record of the highest individual score in an innings by an Indian stumper in Australia. Engineer scored 89 runs in 1967 at the Adelaide Oval.

But above all, it was probably a clear message from Pant to Aussie skipper Tim Paine that 'Don’t you mess with an Indian, mate!'
