Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli took to social media to post an inspirational message with his followers and fans on Instagram.
The flamboyant batsman, who has been away from the cricketing field for quite some time now, posted a black & white picture and wrote in the caption: "If you are true to yourself, you won't fear anything."
Sporting events around the world have been halted due to the coronavirus pandemic. For cricketers, first event post corona stoppage is the 13th edition of the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL), which is scheduled to take place from 19th September in the UAE.
Once again, Virat Kohli will lead the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) as they will look to win their first-ever IPL title.
"They (RCB) will have a big chance to take out an IPL. They have always had good stock on paper but they have never been able to go out and get the job done," legendary Aussie spinner Brad Hogg had recently said on his YouTube channel.
"Now, with the inclusion of (Aaron) Finch at the top, he will be able to dominate the powerplay overs...get some quick runs and relieve the pressure off AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli in the middle-order.
"Also, their bowling attack looks strong with Dale Steyn and Kane Richardson, and they have a better team balance as compared to the last couple of years. They will have a better strategy going into the tournament," he added.
