The controversy involving Indian pacer Mohammed Shami and his wife Hasin Jahan seems to be far from over with them taking pot-shots at each other whenever they get a chance.

Hasin Jahan, recently, in an explosive statement alleged that Shami is planning to tie the knot with another woman just after Eid. And, she also claimed that the Indian fast bowler offered her money and has asked for divorce.

However, Shami, on the other hand, came up with a stinging reply for the allegation made against him this time. In an interview with Xtratime.in, the 27-year-old said, "I am in much trouble due to my first marriage. Do you think I am mad that I will marry another girl?”

He also added, "Hasin has brought a lot of allegations about me in last few months and this is an addition to that. That’s good, then I will invite her to be present at my second marriage (laughing)."

Shami is part of Indian side touring England and wants to prove himself in the English conditions after terrible a performance in the Indian Premier League.

"I couldn't perform well in last few months due to my family problems, but I am confident that things will change in England," he said.
