Sanju Samson adds to classic catches collection
New Delhi: Manish Pandey played a captain's knock to guide India A to a one-wicket victory over South Africa A, almost clinching a place in the final of the tri- series one-day tournament in Pretoria.
Pandey anchored the chase hitting an unbeaten 93 off 85 balls as India A chased down a tricky target of 267 with two balls to spare. All-rounder Krunal Pandya's 25 off 15 balls was also a significant contribution in the end as India registered third successive win in the tournament.
However, it was Sanju Samson who managed to grab headlines after scoring patient 68 off 90 and came up with spectacular piece of effort on the field
The incident took place in 25th over when Yuzvendra Chahal delivered to Dwayne Pretorius, who edged one over the point and expected to ball to cross the fielder but was shell shocked to see Sanju Samson dive backwards to take a screamer with a world class effort.
