Ravindra Jadeja blessed with baby girl hours before IND-SL Champions Trophy match

New Delhi: Happiness knocked on Indian cricket team’s door hours before their Champions Trophy encounter against Sri Lanka in London as Ravindra Jadeja was blessed with a baby girl.

All-rounder Jadeja’s wife Reeva Solanki gave birth to a baby girl on Thursday morning even as miles away her husband prepared to catch Sri Lanka on his spinning web to secure a Champions Trophy semifinal berth.

The No. 1 ranked Test bowler tied the knot with mechanical engineer Reeva Solanki on April, 2016 and was involved in a minor road accident earlier this year, through which both came out unscathed.

The news of Reeva’s pregnancy broke out in March this year.
