Pakistan vs England: Shan Masood breached the three-figures mark for the first time in four years.
Pakistan vs England: Shan Masood responded to criticism with a sensational hundred in the first Test against England in Multan on Monday (October 6). Amid cricticism following Pakistan's 0-2 series defeat to Bangladesh at home and his own form, Shan won the toss and elected to bat first before smashing a brisk hundred to silence his critics.
This is the left-handed batter's fifth Test match hundred but his first as a captain. Masood breached the three-figures mark for the first time in four years with this innings which has set the foundation for a solid first innings total for the hosts.

Shan Masood got to his hundred off 102 balls and by the time has breached his hundred, had already smashed 10 boundaries and 12 sixes. Masood and Abdullah Shafique's partnership after England managed to get rid of Saim Ayub early on in the innings has helped them recover and the Men in Green are now eyeing to gain an advantage.

Gus Atkinson Only Wicket Taker For England
As far as England are concenred, Gus Atkinson has been the only wicket-taker for the Three Lions. The English side are without Ben Stokes and have looked in short of plans under Ollie Pope barring the leg-side strangle and Saim Ayub getting caught down the leg side.
Chris Woakes, Brydon Carse, Shoaib Bashir and Jack Leach are the other bowlers that have been used by England but none that have produced the breakthrough for the Three Lions.
