The inaugural match of ODI World Cup 2023 promises to be a thrilling encounter, featuring a rematch between 2019 ODI World Cup finalists, England and New Zealand, on October 5. The much-anticipated opening showdown will take place at Ahmedabad's iconic Narendra Modi Stadium.
India's ODI World Cup 2023 campaign will begin on October 8 in Chennai, where Rohit Sharma & Co. will face five-time world champions Australia. As the current top-ranked team across formats, Rohit Sharma-led team India, also the hosts of this year's ODI World Cup 2023, carries lofty aspirations and hopes of securing the World Cup championship on home soil.

All warm-up matches in ODI World Cup 2023 will be played across three venues in India and will extend from September 29 to October 3.
