World Cup 2023 Tickets: In view of the high demand, the BCCI is set to release more tickets for the World Cup.

In what is a welcome move for fans, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has recognized the significant demand for tickets for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023. In view of that and following discussions with the hosting state associations, the BCCI has announced the release of approximately 4,00,000 more tickets for the highly anticipated tournament. This decision is aimed at accommodating as many passionate cricket fans as possible, ensuring their participation in this historic event.

Cricket enthusiasts from across the globe can now secure their seats to witness the cricketing extravaganza of the year. Fans are encouraged to act promptly to secure their tickets, as there is expected to be high demand yet again, given the immense global interest in the event.

When will the sale of the 4,00,000 More Tickets begin for ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023?

The general sale of tickets for all matches of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is scheduled to commence at 8:00 PM IST on September 8 (Friday). Fans can purchase tickets by visiting the official ticketing website with BookMyShow already announced as the  official ticketing partner of the event. Meanwhile, in an official release shared by the BCCI, it has also been converyed that more details about the subsequent phases of ticket sales will be provided in due course.

"The BCCI deeply acknowledges that fans are the heartbeat of the tournament, and their unwavering passion, engagement, and contributions are pivotal to the success of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023," read the concluding lines of the official release by the Indian Cricket Board.

The ICC Men's Cricket World Cup is set to commence on October 5 with India scheduled to begin their campaign on October 8 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The much awaited India vs Pakistan fixture is slated at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14.
