NZ vs SCO, T20 Highlights: New Zealand Win By 16 Runs Despite A Spirited Scotland Performance

Background

T20 World Cup: Scotland will face their first major challenge of this World Cup when they go one-on-one with New Zealand on Wednesday. The match starts at 3:30 pm IST and it will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Scotland is a team that has come from the qualification stages. They looked pretty solid in their qualification games but failed to have an impact in the Group stages. They lost their first two matches against Afghanistan and Namibia.

Kyle Coetzer, the captain of Scotland got injured which was a big blow to their team. He is expected to play today as he is recovering well from his injury.

On the other hand, New Zealand would be confident after their last win against India and would love to continue their good form. "Scotland are an improving side and a strong side, as you've seen throughout the early stages of this tournament. Playing them is something the guys are looking forward to," said Tim Southee of New Zealand.
