MS Dhoni Stops Car To Pose For Photo With Traffic Policeman Outside Ranchi Stadium, Pic Goes Viral

MS Dhoni's gesture for traffic policeman has gone viral on social media.

Even though MS Dhoni is far from any sort of cricketing action at the moment with the next edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) still some time away, he still manages to grab headlines. Of late, Dhoni has been spotted driving some of his vintage cars on the streets of Ranchi, his hometown and place of residence. He has also been busy with the launch of the first movie under his production house titles "Let's Get Married". And now another picture featuring the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain has made its way online.

In this viral post, Dhoni can be seen posing for a photograph with a traffic policeman outside the Ranchi stadium. The World Cup-wining India captain can be seen sitting at the driver's seat of his car.

Dhoni led CSK to their record-equalling fifth IPL title in May earlier this year. While the wicketkeeper-batter was struggling with a knee injury throughout the season, he did not miss a single game. Once the tournament was done, Dhoni underwent a knee surgery in Mumbai.

While there were speculation that IPL 2023 could be his final year in the T20 competition, after winning the tournament Dhoni said that he would want to return for one final year as a way of gratitude towards his fans who turned out in large numbers in every venue that CSK played in with the league returning to its home and away format this year. Dhoni is 42 at the moment but fitness has not been an issue barring the knee problem he had this season. His batting may not haven't been as threatening as it was during his prime but there is no doubting his brilliance with the gloves and as a leader even in this phase of his career.
