Legends Cricket Trophy 2024: The Legends Cricket Trophy 2024 is a 90-ball tournament, which is in its inaugural edition this year. Even though the tournament is in its second edition, it'll be debuting in a whole new set-up, as this time, the format has completely changed. It is a unique form of cricket competition, where teams battle it out in a 90-balls-per-side match, consisting of unique rules, which are as follows:

• Each bowler is allowed only 3 overs to bowl, and the number of balls will be the same as standard cricket rule, which is 6 balls per over.
• If the captain wishes to make a bowler bowl a fourth individual over, he must inform the umpires and the opposition team of the same, before the completion of 10 overs.
• The time duration has been set for each over, which is 4 minutes and 30 seconds, and there will be a grace period of 30 seconds.
• Each team will have a bowling and batting powerplay. The bowling powerplay will run for the first 4 overs, and batting powerplay can be taken anytime, but only after the completion of 10 overs.
• The strategic time-out is fixed, as only one will be taken, after completion of 8 overs. However, it can be taken between ball 42-48, only if there's a dismissal in between.
