SRK More Exciting Than Tom Cruise: KKR Skipper Morgan's Special Birthday Wish On 'King' Khan's 55th B'day

In a video uploaded on Kolkata Knight Rider's social media handles, KKR wished 'SRK' via a special gesture as the players went down memory lane to share memories of their first meeting with Shah Rukh Khan, give views on their favourite 'SRK' dance moves, besides wishing the highly celebrated Bollywood actor.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) players and support staff poured in their greetings and birthday wishes to their Indian Premier League (IPL) team owner Shah Rukh Khan who turned a year older to celebrate his 55th birthday. In a video uploaded on Kolkata Knight Rider's social media handles, KKR wished 'SRK' through a special gesture as the players went down memory lane to share memories of their first meeting with Shah Rukh Khan, give views on their favourite 'SRK' dance moves, besides wishing the highly celebrated Bollywood actor. Right from skipper Eoin Morgan to the mainstays of team in wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik, explosive power hitter Andre Russell, pace spearhead Pat Cummins and ace leg spinner Kuldeep Yadav, KKR players poured in their wishes to 'Badshah' Khan on his 55th Birthday. Skipper Eoin Morgan stole the show among his peers by paying the most heart warming tribute to his team owner. Morgan said that while people hail 'King' Khan as the Tom Cruise of India, he was actually more exciting than the bollywood superstar. "Everybody described him as the Tom Cruise of India. He is actually more exciting than Tom Cruise," said KKR captain Eoin Morgan. "I remember once going to Bali and there were just two things which the auto driver told us -- So, you are from India, Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Veer-Zaara. That's how famous he is," said wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik. He (SRK) was so humble and cool. He was standing beside me and gave me a hug. I am a tough guy but I was blushing," said Andre Russell while recalling his first meeting with the Bollywood superstar. "Keep being yourself. Keep being this amazing human being," said Russell while doing the famous "Chammak Challo" dance step. "Hazaar saal jiyo," said leg spinner Kuldeep Yadav while hoping for more superhit movies from Shah Rukh Khan. "Have a great day," said Lockie Ferguson. "You still look like you are 21. So, enjoy this and upcoming birthdays as well," said Pat Cummins. Shah Rukh Khan has been spotted watching quite a few of KKR's matches during the ongoing Indian Premiere League Season 13 being played in the United Arab Emirates. KKR inched a step closer to the play-off berth in Indian Premier League (2020) after trouncing  Rajasthan Royals by 60 runs in an encounter played on Sunday (November 1). With 14 points in the bank from 14 matches, KKR do have a really good chance of securing a berth into the play-offs. They will hope the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the last league encounter in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020).
