Kevin Pietersen uses special bat to stop animal poaching
New Delhi: Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen took a special initiative on New Year to protest against the poaching of Rhinos.
Pietersen used a bat covered with Rhino emoticons during the Big Bash League match against Melbourne Renegades.
“I’m batting for Rhinos tomorrow in the Melbourne derby at the MCG. Poaching our beautiful animals disgusts me and I’m all against them,” Pietersen wrote on his twitter handle on the last day of the year.

Before going out to bat, Pietersen urged his fans to support him on his endeavor.
“Happy New Year! How about dedicating a portion of our time this year to something/someone that needs our help? I’m choosing #HelpOurRhinos,” Pietersen wrote on his twitter handle on Sunday.
