England Cricketer James Vince's House Attacked Twice. CCTV Footage Emerges

James Vince opens up on multiple vicious attacks on his family home in Southampton, Hampshire, which forced the cricketer and his family to move out of their hometown temporarily.

James Vince, the England cricketer who is also the captain of the Hampshire County Cricket Club, has opened up on multiple vicious attacks on his family home in Southampton, Hampshire, which forced the cricketer and his family to move out of their hometown temporarily. In an interview with The Telegraph, Vince revealed that earlier this year, Vince's home and vehicles were subjected to shocking attacks on two separate occasions, compelling his family to flee and live in fear.

James Vince recounted the harrowing experience, saying he and his wife were woken up to the sounds of smashing of windows and alarms. They quickly rushed to ensure their children's safety, who were also very shaken up. The first attack happened early on April 15.

“My wife and I woke suddenly to a load of smashing and alarms going off. We had no idea what was going on and it was obviously very unnerving, so we rushed straight to get the kids to make sure they were safe. They were very shaken up," Vince told The Telegraph.

Vince, who has a wife and two children, aged seven and three, have been living in the Southampton house for nearly eight years.

Vince Family Endured Back-To-Back Attacks On Their Family Home

The Vince family temporarily moved out of the Southampton house while the damages were being repaired. New security cameras were also installed after the horrifying attack. Just a week after returning home, the Vince family endured a second attack that happened on May 1. This time, James Vince was still awake upstairs.

“That meant I was able to get downstairs quite quickly and had more of a sense of what was going on. It wasn't such a surprise either, because it had happened before. I think they saw the activity in the house and left quickly,” he explained.

The second attack was captured by the security cameras in the house. The footage shows two men, receiving bricks from another person and throwing them at the house windows and then at the cars. The video of the CCTV footage has since gone viral on social media.

The incidents have baffled both Vince and the authorities. Despite thorough investigations by the police, private security and intelligence firms, no clear motive has been identified.

“All the experts we’ve spoken to say it looks like a money issue, unpaid debts, or something. We have nothing to hide and know we have never been involved in anything like this. We just desperately want this to stop,” Vince said.
