RCB captain Virat Kohli said he was proud to be a part of the campaign. “Indeed a great campaign to be part of. It’s something we are doing for the first time. These people have come out of their own to help the people selflessly not thinking about their own situation, only to help others. We are happy to be a part of this campaign to wear this jersey during training as well as during the matches,” Kohli said during the launch of the initiative. Kohli also lauded and saluted the Real Challengers who worked tirelessly to help others during the lockdown and shared his learnings from the experience. “From personal point of view, we did not have any of these challenges which some of this heroes have faced. The first hand challenge of watching some of these people do their basic work, not able to go back home when they had an option, showed their character. They were respectful of their job, irrespective of how bad the situation is. It taught me not to run away from situations. Everyday we were inspired and amazed. That was my personal experience,” Kohli said.
