IPL 2020: Did Replacing Injured Williamson With Holder Prove To Be Game Changing Move In SRH's Win Against RR?
Holder led the way as SRH restricted RR to 154/6 wickets last night. Brought in as a replacement for the injured Kane Williamson, Holder took the important wickets of Sanju Samson (36), RR captain Steve Smith (19), and the dangerous Riyan Parag (20) and ended the innings with figures of 3/33.
IPL 2020: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) survived the battle for survival in the thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League as they registered a dominant 8-wicket victory over Rajasthan Royals (RR) in an encounter played at Dubai on Thursday (Oct 22).

The 'Orange Army' did not break too much sweat and cantered past a highly getable 155-run target with 11 deliveries to spare. The SRH run chase was spearheaded by quick-fire half tons by Manish Pandey and Vijay Shankar.
Before the fireworks with the willow from Pandey and Shankar, SRH's bowling unit did exceedingly well to restrict Rajasthan Royals to a below-par 154-6 run total on a batting-friendly Dubai deck.
The hero with the white cherry for Sunrisers Hyderabad was none other than Windies seam all-rounder Jason Holder who scalped major wickets at crucial stages to peg back the 'Royals' march.
Making his maiden appearance in IPL 13 as a replacement for the injured Kane Williamson in the Playing XI for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Holder was on the money from ball one with a rewarding spell that earned him three important wickets of Rajasthan Royals skipper Steve Smith, Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag.
Before his game-changing spell with the ball, Holder showed some athleticism and presence of mind on the field as he affected the run out of opener Robin Uthappa with a direct hit and ended a 30-run opening stand for Rajasthan Royals.
Holder struck a massive blow by clean bowling the dangerous power hitter Sanju Samson to have Rajasthan Royals 2 wickets down.
The tall and lanky Windies seamer came back strongly in his second spell to peg back 'Royals' late onslaught by dismissing Steve Smith and Riyan Parag from successive deliveries.
It indeed was a memorable outing for the Windies T20 stalwart who by all means left an impact on his debut in IPL Season 13 and contributed handsomely to his team's clinical win.
