IPL 2019: RCB get Dale Steyn boost

According to RCB team management, Steyn will be available from April 16, means he wont play for RCB in the next two games. Steyn went unsold in the previous two IPL auctions and last played for Gujarat Lions in 2016

The Royal Challengers Bangalore on Friday roped in veteran South African pacer Dale Steyn as a replacement for injured Nathan Coulter-Nile, who is still recovering from a back injury. The 35-year-old's arrival in the bottom-placed RCB team will provide them a much needed boost in the bowling department.
"Royal Challengers Bangalore have signed Dale Steyn as a replacement for the injured Nathan Coulter-Nile for the remainder of the VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019," read an IPL statement.
According to RCB team management, Steyn will be available from April 16, means he wont play for RCB in the next two games. Steyn went unsold in the previous two IPL auctions and last played for Gujarat Lions in 2016.
Steyn also played for RCB between 2008 and 2010, taking 27 wickets. In total, he has played in nine editions of the IPL.
RCB, who are yet to win a game this season and have lost six in a row, will be hoping Steyn fires from the word go.
The Virat Kohli-led side takes on Kings XI Punjab in Mohali on Saturday.
