IPL 13: Harbhajan Singh Wishes CSK All The Best, Feels Franchise Won't Be Plagued By His Or Raina's Absence

The frontline off spinner felt that CSK have abundance of experience and depth in their squad courtesy their a plethora of proven performers in skipper MS Dhoni,Shane Watson, Dwayne Bravo and Ravindra Jadeja.

Veteran India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh who won't be playing for his franchise Chennai Super Kings in the thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League believes that the 3-time champions will not be plagued or bothered by his or experienced campaigner Suresh Raina's absence during IPL 2020. CSK who take on defending champions Mumbai Indians in the IPL 13 season opener later in the evening would be without the services of their star performers Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina, both of whom withdrew from the tournament citing personal reasons. The frontline off spinner felt that CSK have abundance of experience and depth in their squad courtesy their a plethora of proven performers in skipper MS Dhoni,Shane Watson, Dwayne Bravo and Ravindra Jadeja. Harbhajan Singh made an honest admission that he will miss turning up for the highly successful Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming season and wished CSK all the very best for the entire tournament.

I have been part of IPL from year 1 and it has been an incredible journey for me. The circumstances were different this year so I have taken a seat back. I thought it's important for me to be with the family and spend some time with them rather than being there in the park. I am gonna miss playing but at the same time wishing my team CSK all the very best for the tournament and I am sure they will do what they are known for," Harbhajan Singh told India Today in an exclusive interview. This tournament is such and T20 is a format where you got to play the best cricket in your ability everyday. CSK is one of those sides which has a lot of experience. Yes, they don't have Harbhajan Singh, they don't have Suresh Raina, that's not gonna bother them too much. They have got a wealth of experience of Shane Watson, MS Dhoni, Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja. Yes, I am gonna miss playing with CSK this year. I don't know how much they will miss me. They will still go forward without me or Suresh or no matter whoever," Harbhajan Singh added.
