WATCH: Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma Demands 'A Special Gift' From Birthday Boy Ishan Kishan
Rohit humorously insisted that birthday boy Kishan make a century in his next game for the visitors when speaking to reporters prior to the second Test match between India and the West Indies.
India's skipper Rohit Sharma was spotted chatting with the reporters during a press conference ahead of the 2nd Test against West Indies when he asked Ishan Kishan to join in. It’s never a dull moment whenever captain Rohit Sharma engages with reporters in conventional press conferences whether it's India or the Caribbean. As the wicket-keeper batsman turned 25 on Tuesday (18 July), Rohit Sharma was caught in a fun moment with him while interacting with the reporters. Kishan made his Test debut in the series' first game against the West Indies, just days before spending his birthday in the Caribbean with Rohit and team.
Rohit humorously insisted that birthday boy Kishan make a century in his next game for the visitors when speaking to reporters prior to the second Test match between India and the West Indies. "What birthday gift he wants? Kya chahiye bhai tereko?' (What do you want brother?) You have everything," As the Indian Skipper gave a cheeky response everyone around burst out laughing.

"Birthday gift tu hum logo ko dey bhai 100 - run karkey (You should give us a birthday gift by scoring 100 runs)," Rohit added.
The upcoming match on 20th July between India and the West Indies will mark their 100th meeting in the longest format. The Indian skipper confessed that the West Indies will make a comeback in the series finale after sustaining a humiliating defeat at the hands of the visitors when he shared his thoughts prior to the second Test.
Ishan Kishan was brought in as a replacement for Rishabh Pant who still is working to regain his fitness following a car crash last year. Kishan will be hoping to spend a decent time in the middle to show his productivity and make his permanent place in the Indian Team.
