Kuldeep Yadav 50 T20I wickets record: Making a successful comeback, team India's star spinner Kuldeep Yadav bowled a brilliant spell that saw him attain an elusive feat during India vs West Indies 3rd T20I at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on Tuesday (August 8). Yadav was the pick of Indian bowlers in the 'must-win' game, taking three crucial wickets for 28 runs in a spell of 4 overs. By virtue of his remarkable spell, Kuldeep completed 50 wickets in T20 International cricket and wrote his name in the history books. The 28-year-old has become the fastest Indian bowler to take 50 wickets in T20 International cricket, surpassing his teammate Yuzvendra Chahal, who made this record in November 2019. Kuldeep Yadav had missed the second T20I vs West Indies after taking a blow in the nets.

Kuldeep Yadav completed fifty T20 International wickets in just 30 matches. The Chinaman bowler made his debut in T20Is for India in 2017. Yuzvendra Chahal, who previously held this record, completed 50 T20I wickets in 34 matches. Jasprit Bumrah (50 wickets in 41 matches), at present, is ar number three in this list. Yuzvendra Chahal, currently the highest wicket-taker for India in T20 International cricket, gave away 33 runs in his 4 overs in the third T20 against the West Indies but failed to get any wicket.
