IND Vs SL: Latest RT-PCR Report Of Sri Lankan Players Negative, Series May Start On Time

IND Vs SL: The latest RT-PCR report of all Sri Lankan players is negative. According to the information, all these players can soon leave the isolation and enter the bio-bubble.

IND Vs SL: Before the series against India, the corona virus has increased the difficulties of the Sri Lankan team. However, according to the information, the Sri Lankan team is relieved. The RT-PCR report of the team players is negative. Hence these players can now come out of isolation. According to a report, only the team players will be allowed to come out of this isolation. However, all the team coaches and members of the support staff will compulsorily remain in isolation till Wednesday.

With this, the series between India and Sri Lanka is expected to start on time. According to the report, Sri Lankan players can start training on Tuesday. Sri Lankan team can practice at Khettarama Stadium. At the same time, the Indian team is training at the Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) ground. 

Sri Lankan players may enter bio-bubble soon. 

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) had conducted an RT-PCR test of all its players. The Covid-19 reports of all the players included in the Sri Lankan team including Kusal Perera, Dushmanta Chameera and Dhananjay de Silva have come negative. Now it is expected that these players will be allowed to enter the bio-bubble (biologically safe environment) on Monday. Also, all these players have completed a week's strict isolation after returning from England.

After entering the bio-bubble, all these players will be allowed to meet each other. In addition, players can also use the gym facilities. Outdoor training and net practice of the players are also expected to start in the next 48 hours.

There has been a change in the schedule of the series

The three-match ODI series between India and Sri Lanka was to begin on July 13. The schedule of the series was changed after Sri Lanka's batting coach Grant Flower and data analyst GT Niroshan tested positive for Covid-19. Now the series will start from July 18 instead of 13. According to the BCCI, the first match of the three-match ODI series will be played on July 18. At the same time, India's tour of Sri Lanka will end with the last T20 match to be played on 29 July.
