IND vs SA 2nd T20I Highlights: Welcome to ABP Live’s live coverage of the India vs South Africa 2nd T20I of the four-match series. The second T20I will take place at St George's Park in Gqeberha. After winning the series-opener at Durban, India, led by Suryakumar Yadav, will aim to strengthen the series lead whereas Aiden Markram-led South Africa, on the other hand, will aim to bounce back from the humiliating loss in the first match.
India followed the same script at Durban, securing a 61-run win in the first T20I, just as they did in the 2024 T20 World Cup final against South Africa. Sanju Samson was the standout player in Durban as he became the first player in the history of Indian cricket to smack back-to-back centuries in T20Is. He followed his hundred against Bangladesh at Hyderabad with another in Durban.
Samson hit a century in Durban off just 47 balls and finished with a 50-ball 107 runs knock. He also set a new record for the fastest T20I century by an Indian against South Africa. With this, he surpassed captain Suryakumar Yadav, who had previously held the record with a 55-ball century.
With the ball, Indian spinners Varun Chakaravarthy and Ravi Bishnoi shone as they both claimed three wickets each. South Africa could only manage 141 runs before being bowled out by India in just 17.5 overs, losing by 61 runs.

IND vs SA 2nd T20I Live: WHAT A THRILLING GAME!
What a thrilling contest at St George's Park, with South Africa holding their nerve to win a low-scoring nail-biter! Despite being in trouble at 86/7, Stubbs and Coetzee showed incredible composure to guide their team to victory.
Earlier, the Proteas did an excellent job with the ball, restricting India to a below-par total. In their chase, Ryan Rickelton hit a couple of boundaries but was caught in the deep off Arshdeep Singh. Varun Chakaravarthy entered the attack in the 5th over, dismissing Aiden Markram with a googly and removing Reeza Hendricks in his second over. Taking advantage of the turn on offer, he also sent back Marco Jansen, whose promotion to No. 5 didn’t pay off. Ravi Bishnoi kept up the pressure with tight bowling from the other end. The game-changing moment was Klaasen’s dismissal, once again orchestrated by Chakaravarthy. He followed it up with a googly to dismiss Miller on the very next ball, securing his maiden 5-wicket haul in T20Is with brilliant figures of 5/17.
However, Stubbs found strong support in Coetzee, who wasted no time getting off the mark, relieving the pressure on Stubbs. Together, they built on the momentum, adding 37 runs off 22 balls to secure the win with an over to spare.
