IND vs BAN 2nd Test: The toss at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur has been delayed due to a wet outfield.

IND vs BAN 2nd Test: The toss at the India vs Bangladesh second Test in Green Park Stadium, Kanpur has been delayed. With overnight rain in the city, the outfield of the venue is still wet which has caused the delay in the toss and subsequently the start of the day's play.

Rain is predicted on the first three days of the 2nd Test match. Ground inspection is scheduled at 09:30 am (Indian Standard Time) after which an official announcement on when the toss would happen and play would commence will be made. India are 1-0 up in the two-match Test series, having won the Test series opener at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Shakib Al Hasan Confirms Retirement On Eve Of Kanpur Test

Much of the chatter ahead of the IND vs BAN 2nd Test was around Shakib Al Hasan who said that the Kanpur Test could be his last.

"I have expressed my desire to play my last Test in Mirpur, if that won't happen, second Test against India would be my last," Shakib said.

"Bangladesh cricket has given me so much, and I want to give my last in this format at home," he added.

Meanwhile, the star Bangladesh all-rounder confirmed that he has already his last T20I. Having made his Test debut in India in 2007, life could come a full circle for the southpaw, a vetran of over 440 international matches if the Kanpur Test turns out to be the last one of his illustrious career.
